Car Track Days

Rev your engines, gearheads! A Car Track Day is your golden opportunity to unleash your own car on a proper racetrack—and Trackdays.co.uk makes it happen across the UK with style and precision. Whether you’re hooning around Brands Hatch, attacking the curves at Oulton Park, or stretching your car’s limits at Cadwell Park or Knockhill, this is the ultimate adrenaline fix.

🏁 What Is a Car Track Day?

Simply put: you drive your own road‑legal car on a racing circuit, free of typical road speed limits, but still within safety rules. It’s not racing, mind—you’re encouraged to explore the boundaries of your machine in a controlled environment, not duke it out with other drivers.

Typically, you’ll start the day with registration, paperwork, and a noise test. Then comes the mandatory driver briefing, where you learn track etiquette, safety flags, and circuit layout. From there, depending on the format, you’ll be split into novice, intermediate, or advanced groups and rotated through 15–20‑minute track sessions—often two or three groups per hour.

For more experienced drivers, the Open Pitlane format lets you stay on track as long as permitted, giving you the flexibility to drive multiple laps back‑to‑back.

🚗 Why You’ll Love It

  • Pure driving bliss: Feel the roar of your engine, the grip of tyres under braking, and the G‑forces through fast corners—all without traffic lights or speed limits.
  • Learn and improve: Some days even offer instructor tuition—essential if you want to hone your line, braking points, and car control. A brief stint in the passenger seat with a top driver can teach more than hours of solo laps.
  • Community of petrolheads: Share tips and banter with fellow enthusiasts—from rookies to seasoned track veterans.
  • Affordable thrills: Prices generally range from around £120 for evening sessions to £300+ for full‑day events—depending on circuit, day of week, and format.

🎯 What Trackdays Brings to the Table

Trackdays.co.uk is the UK’s number one broker for Car Track Days and driving experiences since 2004. They curate listings across dozens of UK venues—from Brands Hatch and Silverstone to Cadwell Park, Castle Combe, Donington Park, Oulton Park, Mallory Park, Spa and more. Many organisers are members of the Association of Track Day Organisers (ATDO), ensuring high standards.

Trackdays has been thrilling customers with driving experiences, bike and car track days and experience gifts since 2004. Getting bigger and better, adding more experience venues, more race circuits and more experience days every year. They are independent and therefore not tied to any one track, provider, hotel or events team. This gives them the ability to offer a massive range of experiences at tracks and venues across the UK and Europe. They offer bespoke, unbiased advice on the best experiences and events that suit your requirements.

NOTE: Booking a track day is simple but there are some important things to consider first. The most important thing is that you as the driver and your vehicle are eligible for the event you are about to book. When you click into an event you will see three tabs which all contain the essential information specific to that event. Always make sure you read this before going ahead. You will need to check that your licence is valid, your vehicle will be within the noise limit and that you have the right safety equipment and clothing.
