The Great Yorkshire Traction Engine Club’s Duncombe Park Steam Rally will once again take place in the beautiful surroundings of Duncombe Park, Helmsley. There will be more than 40 full-size steamers, 40 miniatures, more than 60 commercial vehicles, 120 tractors and stationary engines, and 170 vintage cars and motorcycles at the event.

There are also several organs, models, a working area, crafts, trade stands, refreshments, a licensed bar with evening entertainment, Can-Can dancers and a fair ground. We also have a lot of room for caravans and camping.

Weekend camping is a popular choice for many. With much to see and do, evening entertainment and the market town of Helmsley a just short walk away, stopping on site allows ample time to soak up the atmosphere of the rally. The sights, sounds and smell of the traction engine rally makes for a great weekend.
