DESCRIPTION:With this private track day\, inexperienced drivers won’t have to worry about sharing the track with race-ready cars or seasoned pros. This is a great chance to gain self-assurance in a welcoming setting\, and it’s open to both vintage and contemporary vehicles. \n\n\n\nHave you been on a car track day and felt overwhelmed by all the fast cars and race cars around you? \n\n\n\nWe understand some track days can be daunting with very experienced drivers and race prepared cars on the track at the same time\, so in 2025 we are introducing a Novice Driver Only Car Track Day. \n\n\n\nCroft’s track days will operate with only two groups with a maximum of 15 cars in each group on the 2.12 mile track. There will be 6 x 20 minute sessions for each group throughout the day. The track day is open to Classic and Modern Cars but is NOT available to race prepared cars or experienced track day drivers. \n\n\n\nARDS qualified instructors will be on hand to assist during the day. \n\n\n\nA Brief description on how the day will operate*: \n\n\n\n\n9.00am – Arrival\, Registration\, Safety Briefing\n\n\n\n9.45am – Pace Laps\n\n\n\n10.00am – Start of the first 20 minute session.\n\n\n\nLunch – 12.30pm – 1.30pm\n\n\n\nEnd of day – 4.00pm\n\n\n\n\n*Timings subject to change.

Passengers will need to buy a ticket.\n\n\n\nUnder 16’s free.\n\n\n\nThe event will start at 10am and finish at 4pm. All show cars will arrive between 7am – 9am. Visitor access will be from 10am.\n\n\n\nWe will have over 500 cars on display ranging from sports\, classic\, performance\, supercars & everything else in between.\n\n\n\nWe will be running a Show & Shine for up to 20 cars which’ll be picked out of the show car applications. Fans and racers alike dress in period clothes for the event\, which carefully recreates the atmosphere of the circuit’s heyday (1948–1966). \n\n\n\nOn the track\, there will be about 13 exciting races with legendary cars. Some of the most important awards are the Goodwood Trophy for Grand Prix and Voiturette cars from 1930 to 1951\, the Richmond & Gordon Trophies for F1 racers from 1952 to 1960\, the St. Mary’s Trophy for vintage saloons\, and the Freddie March\, Chichester\, Whitsun\, and Stirling Moss Memorial Trophies.The whole track will once again only use environmentally friendly fuels\, showing that Goodwood is dedicated to racing that is good for the environment. \n\n\n\nMotorsport legends like Jenson Button will be on the grid for the RAC TT Celebration\, driving a Jaguar E-type. Karun Chandhok\, Max Chilton\, Jean-Eric Vergne\, and Érik Comas will also be there\, having all raced in F1. Nine Le Mans winners are also set to compete\, such as Tom Kristensen\, Derek Bell\, Emanuele Pirro\, and Romain Dumas. \n\n\n\nThe Revival is as much about the atmosphere off the track as it is about racing. Throughout the Aston Martin model range\, the Vantage moniker persisted\, evolving from a specification to a model name. \n\n\n\nThere will be a display of Aston Martin vehicles associated with the Vantage moniker\, ranging from DB2 to the present model\, to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the Vantage name. \n\n\n\nAdditionally\, the day will commemorate 20 years since the original Gaydon Vantage was introduced. In the illustrious history of the brand\, this version of the Vantage continues to be the largest sales success to date. Our goal is to have the most Gaydon VH2 Vantages at the event. featuring a display of every single model\, starting with the V8 Vantage in 2005 and continuing through the V12 Vantage and the last Vantage to depart Gaydon. DESCRIPTION:Corbridge is a beautiful Roman town with a lot of history and heritage. What better place to hold an event for classic cars and other old vehicles when we go back to the Tynedale Rugby Club grounds in the summer? \n\n\n\nIn the summer\, Tynedale Park will be full of classic cars\, kit cars\, custom cars\, modern classics\, motorcycles\, light commercials\, and classic 4x4s. The park is huge and has lots of space. \n\n\n\nThe park covers 30 acres and has both level grass and hard surfaces. It is right next to the Corbridge Railway Station\, so people can easily get to the event by train or by following the road signs. \n\n\n\nAt Great British Motor Shows\, you can look forward to all the usual fun of a show. Meet other people who love old cars\, tell each other stories over a chamois\, and look around the many trade and autojumble stands. All afternoon\, the show arena will be on with full commentary. \n\n\n\nWhy not do it over the weekend? Some people will be able to camp on Saturday afternoon and evening\, and there will be a bar in the evening. You must make a reservation in advance.
